A & B are the answers. A topic sentence in a paragraph would come after the thesis has already been introduced, and if you have three or four paragraphs, how many times would you have to introduce your thesis, anyway? The lead paragraph in a paper can be called a thesis statement. It's easy to do: You make a statement about the subject, and give three reasons that support the first statement in the first paragraph. This is at least five to seven sentences long. The rest of the paper, you elaborate on the three given reasons in your opening paragraph, using transition sentences to link and relate your reasons. It's a nice way to organize a paper. Good luck!
