can you be diagnosed with drug induced physcosis if you took mushrooms ONCE, and smoked some weed? because honestly this guy i know seems fine.. but he says his vision is off now, he has trouble remembering and he doesnt feel the same. i dont know. can you trick yourself into thinking theres something wrong with you? because i dont think he really is physcotic in the least..

he goes to counseling, has had a cat skan (it was fine) and has had a physciatrist evaluation and they jus prescribed him some anti- physcotic .. but he doesnt want to take it because all the side effects are what hes going through like anxiety, sleeplessness.. etc.

People do it all the time. It's possible but, why doesn't he simply get a full medical evaluation and speak with his doctor? It can also e the effects of a few number of things but I would never even venture a guess. His best bet is to deal with a licensed medical doctor who will administer blood bests and have X-rays taken, too. He may even run a few tests to see his motor skills and other tests that will give him more insight as to what the problems may be. Sitting around worrying ain't gonna help him much, is it? He needs t get a full check up and he needs to be honest with his doctor.

depends..the quantity of drugs he used can induce a pyschosis but this can be temporary,unless he had phychosis prior to the drugs and this then bcame full blown. Weed is known to make some people paranoid. Tehre are some people who like to think of themselves as crazy or off great defense mechanism for no responsibility of one's actions. Certain anti pyschotic meds have side affects like weight gain and loss of sex drive

it has a lot of the same properties as LSD does. it is possible that taking a very Strong dose of LSD has had a lasting effect on the human mind.....depends on how many mushrooms he ate...

I think that if he did it once....probably not....because sometimes your brain tries to play tricks on ur body.....if u dont believe me give a kid some apple cider and tell him its beer....I will bet they will be acting like they are drunk :P
