Fairly reasonable.Just did my kitchen. The flooring was 25.00 a box and the underlay was around 27.00 a roll and I needed 2. Depending on the size of the area that you want to do, it's inexpensive and it looks great!!!! 10x13 Kitchen ran us about 250.00. Do it you will be happy that you did. Very easy!! You will need a table saw!! Home Depot and Lowe's have good deals on laminate flooring. The price also includes a hallway that is about 10 ft long, just to give you some kind of idea.

we charge £50.00 per m2, for a very good quality laminate (pergo) supply and fit. you can get cheaper, but wont look as good and last as long (real wood, sounds nice, but will dent and scratch very easily). It will cost more (obviously) if you want the skirting taken off and replaced, but it does make for a far, far, better job, instead of that crappy quadrant around the room. Then theres the additional cost of door strips.

What level of quality do you want? If you're going to do it 'on the cheap', it may not last very long. And if you DIY, you may be able to afford a good quality product from the likes of any good DIY store but remember, you only get what you pay for. If it's going to be a job just to sell the house, you may be able to get away with around £20 to £30 a square metre. Try this link:

It depends on what quality flooring you get and what deals are on.
I did my front room, porch and hall way about, for £300 (everything in.... underlay etc). I think this was a great price as it will last longer than carpets, it looks great and is very easy to keep clean.

where do you live in the us it should cost you about $2.00 a square foot that does not include any thing extra like trim or leveling the sub floor and for that price you will get a good professional to do it for you
