Hi Cpinatsi, thanks, the problem is the intsestine is allready removed and yes normally everything should work after a while. The person is yet allready several months in the hospital and there is no progress in sight, yes recieving the proper medication, diet and treatment, nothing seems to be working anymore. I was wondering if someone has been (or is) in a similar situation and what they did at that stage. Thanks.

Hi, I have no similar experience, I just wanted to say good luck, and that my mother in law had a part of her intestine removed and she's fine ever since. Your doctor should be able to give you more details on what to expect and what to be careful about, eg special diet, vitamin supplements, etc.
