I'd rather believe He is real.

If He wasn't what would we have to look forward to except rotting away in a grave, letting the worms eat us. I'd personally prefer to think about blissful eternal happiness, instead of "poof" you're gone.

It's not a matter of proof, it's a matter of belief. And no matter how long people argue over it, some people have their mind made up and will never change their beliefs unless something very major occurs to them. Several people have lost their faith, while others gain theirs. But losing or gaining faith doesn't happen because someone "told" you it was true. It takes an occurance, like losing a loved one or being in an accident or witnessing the impossible, to make you believe or disbelieve.

No, he isn't real. Human beings, thanx to our ability to reason(and I use the term loosely), need to have an answer to every question which is raised. So, where did we come from? No one can definitively figure that out, although scientists are constantly working on it . So a long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, (our own), people created a solution to the unanswered question, and it was a "Supreme being " which was called "God". As civilization progressed, instead of the religious people admitting their theory of creation could be wrong, they chose to defend and further perpetuate the creationist myth, in spite of having NO PROOF AND NO SOLID LEADS WHATSOEVER to substantiate their theory. Only blind faith, fear and guilt trips. So, as one of my favorite actors, Sean Connery, once said in the movie, 'The Untouchables', "Here endeth the lesson".

Yes God is real. the only proof i have is personal experience. after my son died i was angry because he had been taken from me. i was pacing the backyard, looked up and said "ok God, if he is with you, i want to see a cardinal right now" (middle of january, there are no cardinals around) 2 cardinals, male and female landed in front of me. i havent doubted the existence of God since that day. i know God is with me every day helping me with everything i do. I wouldnt want to live a day without God.

when you step out of the known light, into the unknown darkness, FAITH is knowing that 1 of 2 things will happen... you will be given something solid to stand on, or you will be taught to fly.

Yes, God is real. I could tell you why I know there's a God, but if you are looking for historical facts then read
" The Case for Christ " Written by Lee Strobel, a former legal editor, and atheist. This book will give you the answers you are looking for.

If you want to ask a question then ask it. You already know what you're asking isn't going to happen. There is no point.

Nothing wrong with questioning. It's a sign of individual thought. But doing what you are doing is more like thinking what you're told.

Don't be one of the flock. You don't have to believe in god to be one of the flock. You just have to follow blindly. So let people believe in god, or not. There is no logic in this question and neither side is provable.

It doesn't matter what you think about the evidence, it matters what they think. Stick to your beliefs but don't just shut out those of others. If we ever want peace we need to have compassion and understanding for others.

Be above this.

God is a real word,
God as a word has alot of meaning,
People use the word God to create and work on abstract problems.
So I would say God is a theory.
And I would also say that God is only as real as any other mental abstraction.
It's definitely an interesting theory though.

God is real, but He can't be proven. The best EVIDENCE of His existence is what you see when you look directly into a mirror...yourself. All 10,000,000,000,000 (ten TRILLION) cells of you. You are not a grouping of random chance mutations; you are a creation of the God who loves you.

No body knows but God is real if you belevie in him. The bible also tells us that he is real and when we die he will be the one too decide if we go to hell or heaven. Now i beat your next question is "what happen if we just die and nothing happens?" Well it all comes down to faith! The more faith you have the more your faith can help you.
