I like Feria - it actually lightens my dark hair. Check the reviews on www.makeupalley.com for lots of info on over the counter products. You'll need a free account.
Also, the end result almost never matches the model on the box because everyone's hair is different.

In a salon then Goldwell tophchic for a permanant colour. It has a low PH so conditions as it colours.

i am an hairdresser, i do buy hair colours a t the warehouse which are good( wella koleston) but i do also like shop colours about £4-5 in money, they have a conditioner with them and it gives off a good shine, clairol are ok,

I swear by "Clarol's Nice & Easy!!!" Been buying it for years!! Never would use any other... because, its just like it says.. Nice & Easy, to dye your hair!!! Smile!!!!

Salons really have the best lines of color. If you're set on doing it yourself, Bigen has a line that doesn't require peroxide.

I always use Nice & Easy by Clariol. I've never had any problems with it and I've been doing my own hair for years.
