There is a test on the market now called the Baby Gender Mentor™ Home DNA Gender Testing Kit. You can take this test a early as 5 weeks pregnant. My friend took it and it was correct. I know when she bought the test there was a money back guarantee, but I don't know if they do that anymore. I will put a link to it below.
Good Luck!

help me here, what is "wot" mean? let's see if i still understand your question, you want to know if there is a way for you to know the sex of your baby without an ultrasound? Well old wives go something like this, if you look like you're carrying a basketball, it's a boy. If in the beginning you have light flutteries in your lower stomach, it's a girl. that is just a couple. i liked not knowing personally.

They say they can be 90% accurate with a scan, but more accurate with a CVS test or an amniocentesis, but both of these procedures carry a risk of miscarriage and I, personally, would not have either myself.
As for the old wives tales, there is no truth in them at all. There are some hilarious quizzes on the Internet though, this one is always fun to do: http://www.babygenderprediction.com/old-wives-tales/index.phtml

No. There are a lot of old wives tales about how to tell, but none are really accurate. They say a heart rate over 140 means a girl and under means a boy, differences in how you carry the baby- high or low, about where you gain weight, then there are the tricks with string and wedding rings, and all that. None of these really work.

I assume you are asking about the sex of the baby if so then only a scan will tell you and that is not a 100% accurate. It is a lot of fun guessing and listening to old wives tales Good luck I hope you have whatever your wishing for

There are plenty of old wives tales, like holding a wedding ring on a piece of cotton over your 'bump' and seeing which way round it swings. But why do you want to know the sex of your baby. Why not do what 1000's of women have done for centuries and wait and see. If you are that desperate, ask when you have your scan.

do the pencil test. it worked for my grandma, mom, sister, and me. Take a pencil with an eracer and bend a paper clip so one side can go into the eracer. then tie a string to the top of the paper clip and(make sure the pencil has lead.it has to be a wooden pencil, not mechanical) hang it over your right hand. you will see that it will begin to move either north-south or east0west. if it is north-south, its probaly a boy, the other way is a girl. good luck.

the most accurate way of finding out the sex of ur baby is by amnioscentesis (which are only usually done when checking for chromosonal problems and is a risky procedure ) just wait and be surprised , it makes labour a bit more bearable knowing u have a surprise still to come !
good luck & congratultions

My mom has always said that generally speaking, if a woman carries her baby out front more, it is probably a boy, but if she kind of spreads out into her hips and carries it wider, it's probably a girl....i've seen her theory pan out many times. But don't be suckered by "the reading of eye flecks" like some people say...I had that done with my first child. I was told I was DEFINITELY having a boy. Then I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!

Not without a DNA sample of the child, but that is very dangerous. The other method is the tried and tested "wait and see" approach, which I understand is 100% accurate.,
