my friend said that at the end of pirates 3 that jack sparrow gets shot and dies then isn't in any other pirates movies cuz the curse waas lifted. but then i thought about the 1 and second one. where the curse was lifted the captain barbossa gets shot and dies... but at the very end of the second one he's back alive again. so is jack really going to not be in any other pirate movies after the 3rd one? + he's the main character, sorta, so he can't die. plz tell me and don't give me any websites to look on!!!!!!!!

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies have been now designed as a trilogy. The third one was already shot when the second one came out and I believe is now in post-production. As it seemed to me, the producers are very much copying the original "Star Wars" trilogy format - with a cliffhanger second episode - and it is very probable the third will end with some grand finality. Killing off Jack Sparrow would fall under that category.
Does this mean that they will kill him off? No. But I wouldn't be holding my breath for a "Pirates" Part 4. I'd put money on 3 being the last one, or at least the last one with either Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp.

They have not finished filming the third and final part of the trilogy but it could be safe to assume that part 3 will tie up the loose ends and gives us the disney style happy ending. I doubt there will be a fourth film as it would drag things on too far and Johnny Depp would not do it as it could damage his career.
So yes basically part 3 is the end of Jack Sparrow and his mannerisms on the big screen.
I will let you know what happens if you want - well when i find out anyway.

I really don't think that, that was very nice of your friend to tell you that person could be wrong. Pulse I think that anyone who goes and looks for the movies for that are going to come out and really ruin what might really happen! Plus you can't really read anything that you read on line or hear so I'm guessing that we'll just have to wait and see.

The Pirates movies are a trilogy, meaning that there will only be three. How they achieve that result, I don't know. We will all get to see next summer!

there is a third movie comming out in may of next year which is going to be the last of the pirates movies...jonny depp (jack sparrow) will be in it.
