ok so i have known this guy for 3 years and hae liked him off and on ever scince. but this year we're in marching band together and we've got to talk more which is nice. i know that he has liked me before but im not sure if he does anymore. So thats when a couple people in my section got involved (i play the mellophone which is a real instrument) and one of them asked him at a football game but i haent goten to talk to her about it but the other one when i ask her she just giggles and wont tell.but i got her to talk about the part that she knows and she said that the other person asked him if he was gonna ask me to the homecomming dance and he said that he was going to and the she asked if he was going to do it soon and he said that he would. but the problem is is that i dont know if he likes me which is what i wanted to know in the first place. and i dont know if he was pressured into doing it. if you have any advice, opinions or anything like that it would be appriciated. thanks!

You know dear... your life will be a whole lot less confusing and stressful if you just talk to the boy yourself. I know it's scary, but the results are straight and to the point! It's amazing how the "telephone" approach always seems to come back to you even more confused than before!
If you like the guy, talk to him. Don't be shy. He'll probably appreciate it!
Now, you must remember... you will get rejection in life -prepare yourself for it, but don't let it get you down. If he turns out to be a "butt" about your interest in him... Move on. If he really likes you, he'll love the chance to get to know you better (say at the homecoming).
Stand up for what you want in life. Be direct. Be yourself. Be strong. Don't let a boy be the one to make you happy - it won't happen! :)

dont worry about it i know exactly how you feel... the best thing to do would probably be just to talk to him, let him know that if he honestly doesnt feel that way then he doesnt have to ask you. if he really feels that way then everything will work out good but you dont want it to be forced because then neither of you will be happy.

well I guess you will find out soon enough....if I were you I'd stop worrying and just let things go at their own pace ..in other words time will tell...if you really can't wait sounds to me like you have a good chance
