My elementary-aged boys are doing their SF project on increased heart rates by playing different video games.
Heart rate at rest vs heart rate playing role playing video game for 20 minutes.
Heart rate at rest vs heart rate playing action video game for 20 minutes.
Heart rate at rest vs heart rate playing sports video game for 20 minutes.
One variable -- heart rate
Numerous controlling variables
Three sets and three trials (Do all three on different days.)
It gives you awesome data, and the conclusions write themselves.
Project Done. Get friends to play and you have more data....
This comes from a teacher who has students win county-level top awards.

by the way to bounce an egg like a rubber you need to keep it in vinegar several days.then drop it and see what happens!
