u can also go to "place djamee lafna" it's a huge place where u can eat, watch magicians, buy souvenirs, see a fortune teller lol, henna tatoos (always insist on a brand new needle, if they don't have it, go to a pharmacy and get one) u can pretty much do everything there.
there's a quarter called Gueliz, where there are plenty of good cafes, restaurants, bistros, bar lounges, shopping.
u can go to oukeimdan do some ski, visit the mountains around, play some golf. have a tour of downtown in horse carriage, visit riads, la palmeraie. have a glass of tea in hotel al mamounia's terrace (very expensive to stay in, but the architechture, and the view are amazing, and worth the overpriced tea)

if u don't have a car rental take colored cabs they're really cheap. in casablanca they're red with a yellow sign, in marrkech they're beige. i recommend u rely on cabs in marrakech since it's very hard to find parking there, it's full year round. enjoy ur trip in morocco. if u have other questions or want further tips, contact me

there is plenty to do. shopping, the marketplace( medina),fantasia dinner show,there is trekking in the mountains,oasis water park was really cool when we went last april.
don't worry you will find a lot of things to do. just sit back and watch the traffic -----now that's a hoot!
