i have bought an ipod nano and its frozen and it wont charge either does anyone have any ideas on getting it to work

That's happened here too...there's a way to reset the iPod...check the the manual it came with...I think you set the hold switch to hold and then turn it off again while it's hooked up to your computer...then press and hold the center and menu bbuttons for at least 6 seconds
How does this rate as a "thumbs down" when "DAN" gets a "Thumbs Up" for giving the same answer AFTER I gave mine?!

same thing happened to the first ipod i bought. i took it back to the store to replace it. Guy said it was a bad ipod wouldn't hold a charge. and yes you can charge your ipod connected to the internet. my ipod is charging and i'm on the internet right now.

happened to mine this morning! :) try switching the hold button at the top on and off a few times and then hold down the menu button for about six seconds and just keep trying to charge it. You cant charge your ipod while youre connected to the internet so maybe thats the problem. check out www.apple.com for more solutions. hope this helps

It happened to my i-pod mini a while ago... It was on the manual, I think that you need to press the "play/pause" button at the same time you press the center button, or something like that. Check the manuel, it's definitely there!!

Take the batteries out for a couple minutes to reset.

no, but take it back to where you bought it from and either get your money back, have them help you with it, or get another one.
