I know loads of people use it and never have any problems but it screwed up my computer I tried some stuff and nothing worked and then it just made my computer freeze for ages :( I wouldnt do it again

yes and no, its reasonably safe if you have an up to date virus scanner, if you find a lot of different files but they are the same size , chances are its a virus or trojan etc. . .
i use it, but you have to be careful

YES. IF YOU GO TO DOWNLOADS.COM THEY HAVE A VERSION ON THERE THAT IS SAFE. THATS WHERE I GOT MINE AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH VIRUSES OR ANYTHING. ITS UNDER AUDIO AND VIDEO SOFTWARE. ITS VERY SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE TOO. ITS GREAT!

maybe. but iTunes is better because it's a lot simple to use and if you get an ipod you have to download you iTunes onto it. and it only cost one dollor per song. but you can also import your own cds on it. and it's free to download itunes

depends which way you mean ,you have to watch what you download i downloaded childrens films and got porn same happened with songs it also slows down your computer loads apart from that virus wise its safe .
