someone broke into my car and stole all my cds. i must of had $400 worth or cd's and they are not covered by insurance because they consider it personal property.
I hate theives!

max, why should i learn the lesson??? i should be able to leave anything any where i want, locked or unlocked and no one should touch it because its not theirs.

I dislike them, too. People like that are opportunists and have no respect for themselves or others. They act as if its their duty to take from someone else because they can or the moment is available. But don't fret, the word of God says its wrong to do so and its against his commandments. So nothing good will happen to them in the long run. Anything that anyone get easy and is against the order of God, to me, has it coming to them one way or another. Meanwhile, don't leave things like that in your car, esp. in the open. Also, know that your friends( provided they are the ones that may have took them) watch you and may have taken the CD's themselves or by error, told someone who acted like its a gift just for the taking. Its best to take only a few at a time that you can carry in a small pouch. BTW, the same goes for
them when they are in your house. Never allow your friends to see all that you have for any reason. Not everyone has the best of intentions....

In most cases, people that steal feel they have the right to claim what they think it's own to them.
Let that be a high payed CEO or a shop lifter. In their mind they feel they are entitled to that. It could also be their way to pay back for some injustice done to them (in their mind).
In your particular case, if the CD's and other equipment were visible, the perpetrator must have felt envy and may have think that by stealing your CD collection he got even with you. Even if he doesn't know you from Adam.
Install an alarm next time and hide your valuables.

The answer comes in three (3) parts. Sometimes it's a question of need. Yet other times people steal because of a deep seated pathology - kleptomania. They develop an irresistible need to take things that don't belong to them. Sometimes people steal 'cause their greedy and don't have the means to procure the items they want. My dear, you've been a victim of the latter.

The number one reason people steal is to support a drug addiction, they will do what-ever that have to! One of the best places I have been told by some of my clients is laundromats. They steal the designer clothing items. Interesting huh?
The second reason is adolesent, esp. those that have not consistant parenting, the majority do grow out of this.
Beleive it or not actual NEED is the last reason a person steals.

Because they're conceited jerks who think they can take advantage of everything and probably sittin there laughin their bootays off cause theyre such jerks and stupid.....does that make sense? I have had similar happen to me. THey dont wanna hafta pay 4 it so they steal. Stupid idiotic stealers!!!!

Some people do it just for the thrill of doing something wrong. Others do it because they want stuff and cannot afford it. Some do it because they have the attitude that if you have stuff, surely you can afford to replace it. No reason makes it right. Sorry this happened to you.

I've asked that question to myself a lot.I think they really don't have anything better to do and they are to damn lazy to buy stuff for themselves.They have a lack of respect for themselves and others.
