just IM him/her and chat with him/her sevaral times with different ID

Just add that ID to your frnds list in Yahoo messenger,Double click on the ID and a chat window opens,Click on frnds button, scroll down and click on "view profile" and you will be able to see the profile of the person.All the best

go to http://profiles.yahoo.com
and enter their ID.
