how can you say that gays cant get married. its their choice and you shouldnt have a say in what they do. so who cares what the bible says. the government shouldnt be based on a bible.

I agree with you to a degree. I do believe gays should be able to marry.
But we have some fantastic laws that come from the Bible.

Thou shalt not kill. Would be the first one that comes to my mind.

There's no attempt to refuse gays forming marriage-like relationships. Currently, all states except Massachusetts refuse to recognize those relationships as "marriages." There's a big difference.

Also, if the policies of states reflect Biblical understandings, it's only because the population of the state accepts those same understandings (whether based on the Bible or otherwise). As long as the state doesn't force participation in a particular religion (or bar participation) and doesn't establish a religious test for holding office, there's no constitutional violation.

Everyone has a right to their views regardless on what the view is based on., Law or Bible.

Gays should not be married, Marriage is only between a man and women to replenish the earth.

Personally I think Marriage should be done away with for all. It seems to cause nothing but law suits and hatred. No i am not married and wont be.
