I am twelve years older than my man - he would like to take it to the next level - should I? I am 46 and he is 34?

Is this too large an age gap for it to work though?

If she isn't insecure about the age difference, sure...

As to what i've heard or known about this kind of situation; Previously i had a friend who cousin also know a girl who's age is about 14 years older than him..

In the begining; my friend thought was alright as age is really not an issue, but most important is they love and care for each other.. They got married and was together almost 15years.

Later, when she reach her menopause at age 52, things started to change, which he mentioned that she didn't want to have sex with him anymore, not only that; he complain that his wife can't have sex is ok, but she didn't even want to let him enjoy it with her anymore, even with much persuation; she still ignore him and didn't want to touch him at all..

This made him more desperado that resulted him looking for other woman for sex.. To cut the story short; They end up with a divorse leaving two kids behind...

But morale of the story, i'm not saying that it doesn't work... But most impotant is, whatever happens, there must be an understanding between both parties, as it takes both hand to clap in everything they do or satisfy each other...

This is just my personal opinion... Hope it gave you some ideas.

Oh yeah, but I think she has to work harder. I think she has to be the one to proactively keep her man from straying. By that I mean she has to keep him busy and satisfied physically; otherwise, the tempting younger women will be a big temptation to him. My older gf was very clever and completely hot female. Not only was she the most feminine I have ever encountered, but I always woke up in the morning in her mouth. She knew when we had sex at night, that tomorrow was another day, and as long as I was kept satisfied, there was never a problem. Love the older woman !!!

nothing is impossible if there's a will and determination. affairs of the heart is complicated but can be manipulated too!

you're more mature and he's younger, some have different views. take advantage of it . .. make him feel old and you feel young . . .lol.

use the age difference to your advantage and not otherwise. age is something we cant stop and may interfere with certain planning and that with your maturity, you can foresee.

looks and appearance can also change and with the age gap is noticeable but there're ways to capture and keep the 2 hearts together?

marriage is a gamble and no one can guarantee that it'll work thru and a game to master and improve.

the heart is ever changing and hopefully of the good but if there's a will, there's a way?

nothing is impossible...good or bad...it all depends on you.

My wife and I have also been together for 5 years and we've been married for 21/2 yrs. She is 15 years older than me and we have a great relationship! She is my best friend, partner, lover, and soul mate. She was worried about the age difference at first but it just doesn't matter with us. We talk about everything & have alot in common....that's the key to a good relationship not the ages. If he treats you right then go for it.

What are you waiting for??? I am 19 years older than my husband!! We have been married for 8 happy years with a 6 year old son. We have been together for 10 years. It's great! If you have been together for 5 years and it works, go ahead and take the next step!! Keeps you youthful!

Well I am older than the guy who likes me by ten years. My toddler loves him because he takes her places and and does things with her that her father never has done for her. Right now, we are in a platonic relationship and I am skeptical about him but it may work out. Either way we will remain friends if it doesn't.

Sure it does, age is not a major factor as long as the gap isn't too large.

My son, (God forgive him) is married to an older woman. She might as well be his Mother the way she is always telling him what to do and how to do it. Needless to say this woman and I do not get along well.

i don't see much of a problem, there is no guarantee a relationship will work out even if both the man and woman are of the same age range, or whichever that matters.

It does. As long as she doesn't hold her higher income against him. It isn't nice to be put down for not earning as much in a marriage.
