Suspense is.... Apprehension about what is going to happen. Excited anticipation of approaching a climax.

Mystery is.... Something that baffles understanding and cannot be explained. A story about a crime (usually murder) presented as a novel or play or movie.

But you can have both in the same plot.

A mystery would be like there is something that you have to solve or get down to the bottom of.
A suspense/spine tingler might be more like a story where you never know what's going to happen next.

I guess just the general definition of mystery and suspense. Sorry, I tried to describe it as best I could.
