i have an ipod mini and sometimes ill charge it overnight and then 30 minutes later it will say the battery is dead even though the screen says its full. so it will shut itself off and they i turn it back on and goes for another 15 min, etc. am i overcharging the battery? can i get it replaced? its really frustrating with the old one

I had the same problem. I brought it to the store, and they said their was a whole batch of mini's with a bad battery. After they tested it and confermied that I had one of those, they gave me a new one for free. So just bring it to the store. :)

Apple can replace the battery for a measly $99. You'll have to ship it to them though.

Im not exactly sure but i dont think apple allows u to replace batteries.......:(

they don't make i-pod mini's anymore so i don't think they would make batteries
