I know a film was going to be made back along but I've heard no more about it which is a shame as I really like this sci-fi comedy programme. Thanks.

I think it is currently in development hell.
I checked the red dwarf site and the last news they has on the move was back in 2003.
Don't expect to see it soon, if ever.

I am not sure, but the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (same type of humor) didn't necessarily blow up the box office, so I can see why the studios might hesitate. It's a shame, because Dwarf would be a fun movie.

it will be honestly wonderful...... in the experience that they pull it off correct. i did not like the way the perfect sequence ended and that i have been waiting for a stick with-up ever on the grounds that. i have consistently been a large pink Dwarf fan. I easily have all of them on DVD and function considered each and every episode infinite circumstances. I for one, won't be able to watch for the hot ones, I in basic terms desire they get it correct.
