Gemini. I was born on May 21, 1996. I consider myself a Gemini and people just keep telling me thay I'm a Taurus. Urgh! It's really obvious! Just look at this : Taurus : April 19 - May 20 . Gemini : May 21 - June 20 . It's somehow reverse! So if Taurus is : April 19 - May 21 then it's not right.

You have to get a chart done according to the exact time, date and place of birth.
If you are a Gemini you will not have any Taurus traits unless you have other planets and/or Ascendant in Taurus.
If you are a late degree Taurus you will progress into Gemini by your 2 birthday, so you will begin to experience Gemini traits. You should read up on progressions if you are a late degree Taurus.

She i a Gemini, my birthday is the 20th of may, I'm a Taurean, I too have a friend who is the 21st of may and she has no taurean traits at all.
