As far as I've heard, it is only fresh packaged spinach that is being recalled (produced in USA)... theoretically the frozen dip should be fine.

I live in California where this whole outbreak started. Even my store was pulling their bagged spinach. But frozen is different. It's been processed and cooked, boxed and frozen. You're safe, but I am not a doctor. I'd eat it.

You should stay away from ANY spinach in any restaurant.
If you go to the store, & buy FRESH spinach, NOT IN A PACKAGE, then you'll be safe, but wash it in cold water first.
