Indeed, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JAHCO) is an important accreditation and body for both inpatient and outpatient care, where rigorous standars of medical practice usually exist. However, this organization provides a rigorous set of practice guidelines and may recommend granting or revoking practice licenses when these guidelines are violated. Once granted, the organization may recommended one to five year accreditation.
