Actually I know this is wrong–&I keep telling him this since 1.5 years; that’s why I even didn’t tell him my emotions for long time.I never tried to get him as well. I was fighting all the time to clear my mind from his thoughts because my logic never could accept marrying him but I never succeeded instead my emotions increased for him.May it was because that he is so nice in all other aspects of life & also my close friend. I really want to be with an independent man who takes all of his decisions himself – I’m totally against of these old ideas such as scarifying for your parents and to be honest these ideas look rubbish to me. Now I’m in peak of my emotions & don’t know how to get rid of this.I really want to go on and live my life according to my own principles–but don’t know how. I never thought I could be this much confused. I was always a practical and principled girl. I hate this when my emotions try to overcome my mind–I really don’t want it. plz tell me how to get rid of it?

well really hard think to answer, bcoz sentiment depend on individauls. sitting here one cannot imagine ur state of mind & position. But lets try to find a solution.
1) If he really values you to the extent you value him, ask him to take you to his family & try all tricks like pleeding, convincing etc.,
2) Get busy with other good things of life. As u say, inspite of knowing (for yourself that what u r doing is wrong) u r doing this. that simply means u have too much time to waste on his topic. Better change the place for time being or get busy with other activity.
3) try to go away from ur current place, till u feel all right.
