Well I started writing when I was 7, got published at 16 but then got rejected for the next 15 years. I wanted to write TV shows and direct them, but only got to do commericals and documentaries (however my partners did TV show) and I expected to run for President when I turned 35, but never did. I did end up writing for magazines and doing editorial work, even though my spelling sucks and my grammar is even worse!

I never anticipated I would be like my mother and get into music and produce records that got on radio and sell on e-bay for $30, but I always did like recording engineering since I was 11.

As I recall the first career I wanted at age 4 was to be a trash man, because it was neat them going up the back of the truck on a lift to dump the cans. That looked like a much better job than the Post Man who walked in the rain and snow. They didn't walk, they got to ride on the back of the truck. That looked neat too!

In college I got a C in Cinema History becasue I didn't do a project and ended up dealing with archives for 20 years and becomeing one of the formost experts on Cinema/TV.

Water seems to find it's own level.

There is no set age standard. Everybody decides at various times what their ultimate goals are going to be for their life. Some don't even have to decide, it usually takes shape before them and they just follow it all the way. Some don't get any ideas until they're in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and even 50s. Just trust in yourself, believe in yourself no matter what happens. Don't let anybody tell you how to lead your life or what to be, that's for you to decide for yourself, only you know you! Don't worry too much about it either, life takes it course and you will find your place, matters are always taken care of my a higher authority. Good luck to you.

There is no such thing as this thing. As you grow older, you will find that your goal changes. At 20 you may wish to be successful in your career and when you reach mid 30s you wish to have a family. So there is no fixed age for us to decide what we want for the rest of our life. it depends on which stage we are in that's all

Around 8, I have a talent! yay!

No no ok, I always wanted to be an artist, now I'm kind of doing what I wanted, I'm in college right now in a graphic design program.

I plan to go freelance after I get some skills in that workforce, and make my own business geared towards the fantasy/gaming/comic book world.

I don't know if I've found my calling yet. But Paulo Coehlo, the famous writer who wrote the book 'The Alchemist' only found out about his calling when he hit middle age.
