No need to think hard on this. The answer is yes. In a perfect world. However, we do not live in a perfect world. The nature of the human race is to live in competition with others who are different.

Ever since man pulled himself upright, he has been at odds with those who have things he doesn't or think differently.

Think of what the world would be like if the qualities you listed WERE a part of every person. Sure the world would be peaceful, but we would have a world where everyone was the same. Sounds nice in theory but in reality, it is the very differences in each person that inspires us to move foreward, evolve and create.

If we were all the best, we would stagnate ourselves into oblivion. Better that we learn to cope with our differences and CHOOSE not to send ourselves into oblivion.

I easily have under no circumstances considered a lot ingredient contained in the Bible than contained in the area of judgment. yet it really is this very issue the position such quite some human beings, Christians protected, get it so incorrect. listed the following are in basic terms some straightforward concepts. A Christian is under no circumstances to ex-communicate or condemn - Matthew 7:a million A Christian isn't to guage a non-Christian - a million Corinthians 5:13 A Christian IS assume to guage someone claiming to be a believer - a million Corinthians 5:12 A non-believer's judgment includes no weight with God - a million Corinthians 2:15 The Christian is judged each day at present, the non-believer later - a million Peter 4:17 because the believer's previous nature is useless and is born again in Christ, the top judgment will not word. - John 5:24

I don't know of any "man" (as you put it...also what about women) who understands mutual respect. It hasn't been done, ever in the history of the world so why would it begin now?

Men, and I use that specifically, have always been fighting over things, it has to do with ego, arrogance, stupidity, power and greed. I dont' see anytime soon when those things will disappear from mens minds.

I wish but unfortunately ambition, greed and zealous belief tend to be more powerful that respect and perspective. Also, some people respect the strength of someone who stands their ground when they believe they are right - no matter what actions this results in.

Although your pre-requisites for peace are a beginning it is far from that simplistic. You have to take the complexity of human behaviour and combat each facet one by one...

Let's begin with patriotism

then poor self esteem

then a lack of control over your own life

then religion...

etc.

That was the message of jesus and it has caused more war and death and suffering than any other message throughout history. Sounds good but is poisonous to practice.

The proper message should be: Treat others as they treat you!

It wouldn't end all wars, but it would greatly reduce the fighting people do among themselves. It would make the world a lot more tolerable and...dare I say?...more friendly?! (gasp!)

Theoretically what you are saying is possible but there are strong obstacles like ignorance, hate, and greed.
