There's always the "Chicken or the Egg?" question, but that's more for certain groups of people to scream at each other over. Probably at least the most elegant is, "Everything that I say is a lie, and I am lying." It doesn't seem to have any practical purposes, but it might be useful in the 23rd century to kept an army of androids from conquering the galaxy. :-)

The game of life itself- what u put in, does not always come out to be what u deserved.

The qn of being right or wrong- terrorists are blamed for the 911 attack, but how can u be so sure that the mastermind is not the one calling for invasion for iraq and screaming at the world to guard against terrorism? since ancient days, wars are mostly started because there is sumthing to be gained.

Hey. good one. To me a biggie is that we're both living and dying at the same time. I read that every seven years we literally have a new body. All brand new cells. Every second we're living we're also dying. Strange.

Another one is that we're here on this earth plane but yet we're something more. That there is another part of us that is bigger than all this. This life is real but yet there are dimensions beyond it. We have the appearance of just having a physical body but yet none of this is solid. To me, the ultimate paradox is this: quantum physics shows that nothing is solid. Not even us. How can we be here but yet not here?

The greatest paradox is that we cannot be happy by trying to be happy. In other words, when we are working hard to become happy by sense gratification, this leads to more and more misery. On the other hand, when we give up trying to be happy by personal endeavors for sense gratification, this leads us to greater and greater happiness.

The day we are born we begin to die. From that day we try to find a meaning for our life. We search education, friends, work and entertainment. Some find a meaning and die with an understanding. Most just go with a confused look on their face. The paradox is usually when you find what you are searching for you do not need it anymore.

That people believe that there is more to life than what there is, some secret to happiness, so they spend all their lives searching for something that doesnt exist so they can be happy, and therefore spend their lives unhappy that they cant find happiness instead of just being happy with what they have got. So they are searching for something that they already have but they cant find it because they are too busy looking for it.

In this day and age, affecting so many people around the world is the paradox of America's great power. It has the ability to kill efficiently, arguably possessing the most efficient and deadliest military in the world; yet, it also has the ability to sustain life given its advances in medicine and its economic strength.

Imagine its power if it focuses on sustaining life.
