Because my friends think that I'm crazy because I don't like to be around people much. Sometimes I do, but i don't usually. People always try to get me to do things with them, but I never want to.

Do I just have some weird problem, or do people just not accept me for who I am?

Being anti-social can be bad for some people. People regardless will form opinions with you not hanging out with them. Hanging out sometimes not always is better than nothing. Maybe you just don't like some of the things they do or the people involved. I personally sometimes would rather be alone than hang out. Being anti-social will make you feel left out in the future. Feel like people are laughing and talking about you when you finally get out. This happens to those that have low self esteem. You are not weird. You just prefer to be alone. Are you involved in anything in society? Like going to the movies, the library, skateboarding, concerts, art, or etc. If not go out there and pick something you love and show them you are social.

Some might think or say you have some sort of depression. I for one, am anti-social myself, but then, it's because I don't feel like talking to anyone at the moment. If you knew my neighbors, they only come a knocking when the "want" something.
For me, the other people are more into causeing drama than the more laid back people like you.
I for one don't think your "weird". But maybe getting out a bit more would get your friends to stop.

If people are always trying to get you to do things that you don't want to, then that will explain not wanting to be around people much. I think everyone has days when they just want to be away from other people. It's not weird, and it's not a bad thing as long as you're not lonely and still have friends.

As long as you are not planning to overthrow the government or become a mass murderer you should be OK. A lot of people would rather be alone than spend time with people they don't know or don't like. There is nothing wrong with liking your own company better than the company of someone you barely know.

i have the same "problem" as you do. I hate it when people tell me to be more social. But, anyways, I personally think it's just a stage. Be you, don't do things just because others think you're a certain thing. I ♥ anti-socialism...

Nowadays being Anti-Social is probably very smart.

Do not let them get to you. Sometimes everybody just needs to be by themself.

Here a pat on the back, Dude.

No...it's not really a bad thing. Unless you want to have a life and enjoy your friends. If you just like being a home body so be it. You should go out every once in awhile though.

No, if you're comfortable with yourself, you can be comfortable around others. Sounds like you are secure with who you are and don't have to have the constant approval of your peers(a win less situation). Rock on!
