6)You have a run-on sentence. Lose he second comma after "for example." Replace it with a period. Capitalize "But" and you should be alright.
8) Put a period after "them" Capitalize "While". You can also replace the comma after "them" and replace it with a semi-colon (;) since you do have two complete sentences in #8
9) This one is okay as is.
10)Put a period after "team". Capitalize "But" and leave the comma in after "events".
Hope this helps

Are you only looking for grammar mistakes?
6. It should be my sister and me. The way to figure this out is to take your sister out of the sentence. You would wouldn't say there were several serious and responsible members in your family and then say "I for example." You would use "me."
8. It should be whomever instead of whoever.
9. The sentence seems awkward but I don't see an glaring grammatical errors. Hopefully someone else will be able to help on that one.
10. There is confusion in that sentence as to which team is "best" in the field events, but the grammatical error is that best should be changed to better.
I hope this helps.
People are great at helping. It would help us better though if you let us know what the homework IS. Did your teacher write these sentences and you are supposed to rewrite them to make them better? Or are you supposed to just change correct certain words. I wrote my answers as if you are supposed to just change certain words, not rewrite the sentences.
