The Asian Tsunami killed at least eighty times more people than 9/11, if there were any such thing as psychic prescience there would have been an enormous slump in the tourist trade to the far east immediately before the Christmas rush.
The whole psychic phenomenon is made of bad people who pretend to see the future and stupid people who believe them. It is all as simple as that.

I like the whole toughness of your question. :P I think I read something about twin psychics predicting this, but they were locals, not well known on a national scale, not that anyone would listen if they said that. Wouldn't you laugh in ones face if they said it would happen? I'll say this about psychism: It seems very random in the rough. A good reason would be, what does the future hold? Is it written in stone? Not really. I think, it gives a prediction of what might happen, a random possibility, since I heard that our particle don't have to choose between point A and B, they just take both. However, perhaps it glimps what we will or could have experienced, perhaps it's a simulation of different outcomes, showing a concious(sp) dicission(sp:P) on the part of the particles. Of course, that's for personal psychic phenomena. 9/11? I don't know. It happened, and know we're left with figuring out what to do in the aftermath...But some people claimed the death sense that day.

Nostradamus did predict it.
Sometime ago about 1989 I saw a Video produced by an Australian company on these predictions. According to it the big earthquake in San Francisco was predicted by him. Of course I saw this years before the 9/11 incident. But this video says that the next prediction is that the new city in America will be attacked by a mad man from the Middle East with fire balls sent from the sky - and it said that the new city should be New York. According to what was happening at that time I really thought that this man should be Saddam Hussain. It mentioned the number of fire balls that will come and gave the number that will really hit the new city. I forget the exact figures mentioned.
The most scary part is the next prediction. According to it the Middle East will be flattened and as a result the Pope will flee Rome. According to what is happening now I hope this will not become true.

Yeah, I'm with the person who said that they didn't pay attention to evidence, so how could a psychic sway politicians and "experts"? What if some Kassandra-type psychic said, hey, 9/11's gonna happen, but everybody said, oh, she's crazy and we don't believe her? What would be the point of knowing ahead of time if nobody would heed your warning? Why would the gov't have so much info on terrorists and do nothing about it? Just on a practical level, people know lots of things about upcoming events and hardly anything is done to stop them. I mean, big stuff like that is usually planned out and requires several people at least to carry out. So is it that nobody knows the plan ahead of time...or that people know but do nothing against it? That's the real question.

No need for psychic powers. The last attempt was predicted by the first attempt.
9/11 is a precursor of National and some world events as they are played out with regard to economics, government, intelligence and things in the spiritual realm.
You can forecast the weather. Can you read 911?

In the late 90's, psychics did "predict" the events.
There are many reports (from psychics) of giant buildings being toppled. These "visions" came from all over the world and from every conceivable culture.
One case in North America involved a pair of psychics (who didn't know each other) drawing pictures that (now) resemble the impact points on the WTC Towers and their collapse.
I don't know what the program was called, but I believe it was on TLC..."Psychics Week" or something like that. And I also recall A&E doing a special like it.

No one needed psychic powers to see the warning signs for 9/11.

True, though days beforehand many people did have the 'plane dream', as it's now referred to. But you also have to consider another factor - how many people in Washington would have listened if a mere civilian had told them the day before that four planes were going to be hijacked and used as weapons against the United States? Even if they somehow managed to talk to people in charge (which alone would be hard to do), the person would be interviewed for hours, and action wouldn't be taken until everyone was absolutely sure it would happen - which would probably be too late.

it depends on if a physic got the impressions or not. some times it is hard to see things clearly until it happens and then all of the Pisces fit together. i do not believe in most so called psychics but there are a few true ones. some help to solve old murder cases for the police.i personally have had many premonitions over the years but you dont want people to think your crazy.i only tell my husband and my grown children of my visions or feelings. one of my daughters is gifted as well.

psychic energy does really exist however not to the extent that the con artists of the world portray. Intuition is a prelude to that psychic power. Let me ask you this If a true psychic called up the secretary of defense and tell him about the crash do you think he would believe them?
