In the PLAY, The Crucible, Elizabeth Proctor asks Abigail to leave her house but she never explicitly says this is because of the affair between John and Abigail. This has all happened before the play begins. We know from Abigail's conversations with John that something happened between them.

I've read The Crucible. I don't remember that part, either.

Because she was having an affair with her husband, John. I would have asked her to leave as well hehe!
I don't think she ever says though that that's why she asked her to leave.
