I would say that the discovery of new planets, stars etc should be just the thing to finally put to rest that following astrology is a waste of time.
Enjoy creation - the beauty of the stars, planets and space is unimaginable.

No, because they back track to find out what the new planet does to human affairs. I believe you should research the mars effect, I love it when CSICOP tries to sully something with real research in it, and it doesn't have a conclusion they like! lol! Also, there are other astrologers out there that try to find out what planets do to us. I'm a believer in astrology, if just because it's been rather accurate in my own life. But, each their own. :D

No, because recently I read in "The Times of India" that some astrologers were against this theory and said that inclusion of new planets would not affect our Kundalis.

Absolutely not. It was already in a doldrums because of it phoniness. Isn't it amazing how many people (including myself) who don't believe in it, still read their horoscope almost daily?

Anyone who believes in that nonsense would need an illumination far greater than an Astronomy Society redefining what constitutes a planetary body.

The bases of astrology have been always weak, from my mind. Because the empires that developed it could not to predict their own ends.
What do you think?
