Male nipples are actually rudimentary breasts. They are rudimentary because we don't have a use for them, if we would've used it men too would've had breasts.
As men and women have evolved from a single cell (organism) that's why we share our entire physical structure. The primary and secondary sexual characteristics have evolved later, after the differentitation of sexes.
Women also have a penis. Their clitoris is actually a rudimentary penis.

mammals are mammals because they feed their young (ie they lactate). Men would hardly be able to reproduce with women if women were mammals and guys werent.
Both men and women have hair (another mammal characteristic ) - just to varying degrees.
