well........ your argument really doesn't give the human mind much credit. your argument implies a couple things
a) that humans can never change
b) that all child abusers have no remorse for their actions
c) that no benefit will ever come from reconciliation between the parties
All of these assumptions you make are not true and cannot be proven, therefore I do not agree they should be locked away for life. The people that abuse children for the most part were probably abused themselves and probably suffer a great deal of mental distress and problems. They need help, severe help. Locking them away for life and cutting off contact with them is just another form of cruelty. It is saying we cannot help you, and you have no right to ever prove yourself to change again in your life.
Now if you get multiple offenders, only after steps have been taken to help the abuser through psychiatric means.. then they are genetically predisposed to being terrible human beings and then i would agree they shouldnt be allowed to procreate or interact with humans.

I believe that most abusers are mentally ill. Lots of times on tv most cant seem to stop and there's tears and all the rest of it. These people need help. there are those others though who seem evil, intent on hurting others however possible. These types of people should receive counselling. Institutionalising these people is an answer - just not in prisons - a hospital type environment is better. Lastly there are those parents who genuinly believe that hitting kids builds character, or stops them being naughty - but really behaviour like that just creates the monsters of today.

I think it depends on the situation. The point being, children have the right to live in a safe environment and if it's their parents that make them miserable, then they have the right to say no to contact with them if they wish.
Example: my dad and his weird alcoholic behaviour really did my head in, to the point where I told him not to contact me again. I told my mum and she was all sympathy for him. I told her that because the scars weren't visible didn't meant that I wasn't affected by it all, and asked her if she'd feel the same if he'd been physically abusing me. Silly cow. Then my dad went on a rant, banging on about "his rights" and all that shite.
Anyway, the point being, kids should be shown a little more respect and the parents DON'T automatically have rights, especially when they've done nothing but mess up an innocent child.

I would agree, but the problem is that liberals could stir up trouble, falsely accusing a parent of being "abusive" because they discipline their children at all, instead of allowing and praising them for throwing poop on the wall as an admirable form of free expression, as they do.

I believe that any parent that sexually abuses their child or any other child for that matter, should be locked up for life. Not only that, but in some cases I do believe that they deserve the death penalty. No, I have never been abused, but this is just my opinion.

i doubt anyone who has been abused(that includes myself), would wish to give details on here, but i have to say that with humans nothing is black and white, people do things for various reasons and not everyone is incapable of change.
If i locked away everyone who had hurt me in my life there would not be many left, i can also tell you that sometimes you need to forgive to move on.

I agree.
People like that don't deserve children.
God especially looks down on that because children are supposed to be gifts from Him.
When they mistreat a child, they abuse that gift.
