Since buying a female pet rabbit, I have begun to feel like a God. I mean, before the rabbit I, in fact, am its Master. It may come out of its cage only if I explicitly allow it. It eats what I give it, when I give it. It drink what I give it, when I give it. If I want it to go outside, I can force it to do so.

So I'm wondering if naturally rabbit owners start going on power trips. Like basically they start feeling like they are true Gods who have vast powers over the rabbit.

What do you think?

i have a rabbit at home, found it about 2 years ago along a busy street. i had never owned one nor even planned to, so it was a sudden change to me. had no idea how to take care of it, but eventually adapted to it. so living with a rabbit, i grew up WITH him, not ABOVE him. i didnt get him in order for me to feel dominance, i got him because i saw him like a individual creature unable to live alone where in any minute any car could have run him over.

i would feel really stupid if ever said to myself, 'ah! i can give you water to drink when i please!...you shall sit in your cage as i desire you to be!' i mean if i was ever to live my life like that, i might as well should have left him in that darn street to get runned over, what difference would it have made?

im long distance away from home, studying way way off from my own boudaries and the only closest friend i have next to me is my rabbit. he is out of his cage 24/7 and he just walks around the house or better to say, 'hops' around the house as my buddy companion than my pet slave.

youre asking whether rabbit owners start feeling like they are true gods over the ...rabbit....? uh...from meeee....a rabbit owner, i dont feel like that. IF IF IF i was to ever feel like a true GOD over something, it wouldnt be over something stupid, like...a rabbit... it would over world dominance, power, control (i mean this all in a GOOD way, im not the evil type). then again, it could just be....my grandpa reached almost to be general in the army and yet growing up with high morals along the family, who in the world would ever feel like a GOD when it came to rabbits??.....beats me!

God does not keep us in a cage, let us eat only when He wants, etc.
That is not God you feel like.
I know what you mean though.
I think that the only truly domesticated animal is the dog. He lives to be with humans.
All other wildlife should be allowed to be free.
I'm not saying to let your rabbit free, because it is probably somewhat domestic...
but I think people should stop keeping animals like that caged up, etc.

I have just looked at some of your other questions. You seem to get off on causing upset to other people. If you do have a rabbit I feel empathy for her. Find a human for company who can tell you what it is thinking - I think you will find it more fun than expressing your frustrations through cruelty to animals and posting questions that appear to be designed to cause distress to others.
