An almost whispery 'beep', which gently suggests that I should think about opening my eyes (but no pressure, just a thought), becoming an increasingly strident and demanding 'BEEP', then building until it begins to register at the low end of the Richter scale, becomes 'BEEP' in six-foot-high letters, and slaps me across the chops.

Its music bcuz its tuned to the radio....but somehow the most loudest death metal seems to always be playin at 5 in the morning...lol. Oh well, its almost kinda funny that way. :)

LoL I went deaf 2 years ago so luckily never agian have to suffer alarm clocks instead mine vibrates my pillow to wake me up.
Goin deaf does have it's up sides lol

BEEP BEEP BEEP.... then I turn it off... however, I haven't been hearing my alarm in a while because my goshdarned bladder has been waking me up... so my alarm clock sounds like my door opening. LOL.

It did sound like a sick bird -- thweep thweep thweep -- but I fixed it with a boot and now it sounds like a deceased parrot.
