Do you have any idea how hard it is to cram 70 minutes of asinine sports coverage into just one hour of "news"?

They do, but you have to have the internet, or other channels set up to get them. I was recently in Oklahoma, yes, OK of all places and saw and station with new about fashion, and what was happening in chile. Yet, news in America is so focused on ethnocantric policies, because they are trying to analate (abolish), one race on this earth all together and people seem as thought they are walking in a dark cloud to ignore it. Yet, it's happening. There is only 15% of Blacks left on earth and 90% of Black Women are HIV infected. The US concentration is on being ALL Caucasian (Who cares), the wrong focus, they don't want us to have a mind set on nothing else but ethnicity. Don't think aside the box they have prepared for us. White, Blonde, Blue-Jeans, High-Heels, Big Asses, Belly-buttons, in other words the overall appearance of the causasian people. People of color, or that talk or look different is out of the box. When we all are aware that the US has become the melting pot for all regimes, new forms of government policies (they are the police of the world), and citizens of other parts of the world find the US appetiting to say the least. They think the US is rich!

The school system first-------it doesn't not spark an interest n children outside their realm. Second, the news media is too slanted to what the government wants told.
However, if people would get on the Net-they can find newspapers from all over the world. I do, and I get all types of stories and different viewpoints and opinions.
People in the USA just do not have the interest.

Foreigners are just jealous because we live in the greatest country in the world. We enjoy tremendous freedom and great lives. We are also larger in geography, a European learning about something in another country 1000 miles away is like an American in New York learning something about a Western state in the US.
If you ever doubt our intelligence, just remember that we saved your a$$ in WWI and WWII.

I see you don't watch TV. On the News they show news form all over the world. And if you have cable, you can watch channels from India, China, Japan, Spain.

most US citizens are not highly educated and have little interest in international news and complicated information, so the media keeps things simple.
In Europe people tend to have higher education, they are also more interested in culture and politics, so the media provides more intellectual information
