I myself find it most frustrating whenever I endeavor to correspond with someone and it fails to send. Preposterous!
"This account hasn't been verified" or some such drivel. PishTosh!

No. I don't really want to be contacted by other Q&A members unless I personally know them.
You need not verify anything for the email address as the email address you used for the Q&A will be your DEFAULT contact email in your profile thus if anybody emails you, it'll go straight to your yahoo inbox. Do check it out or try it yourself. =)

I've had a few people e-mail me, but when I specifically put in an answer that they are free to, they don't. I think there are just so many people on here, that unless you contact them first, you will very seldom receive any mail.

I get the occasional one,but they are usually regarding an answer I have given or someone asking a basic question.
