not only do eyelash curlers make your lashes go kinky - which btw, it is probably the mascara you use....but eyelash curlers speed the process of your lashes 'falling' off....so stop the curler stuff...that is a totally bogus make-up tool in the long run....it is not to be used everyday! And no one ever tells you that. Use it for a special night out but not everyday...hence that may be another reason your lashes seem to kink....they are actually new lashes growing...Stop using for a while, stay natural with the pink/green top mascara, it is really the best for daily use....

Have you ever noticed what curlers look like? They have a 90* angle where the top and bottom parts come together, which curls your lashes. No matter how close you put it to the lash line they will still be kinky, even with a metal one. Trust me, I've tried! Instead, try curling them in two different spots. Do one curl and then move the curler about 1/16" closer (or further away depending where you placed the first one) to your lash line. Also make sure you're curling them Before you apply mascara.

That depends on the kind of eyelash curler you have... maybe you should consider getting different lashes as well it may be a problem with the lashers. A good idea is to consult a beauty salon to pick ou the right products for you and then try their suggestions at home.. Hope that helps.

Clean the mascara off the eyelash cleaner and only use it on clean lashes before you apply mascara. Apply the curler as close to the base of your lash line. Then apply mascara.

Use the old spoon trick. Take a silver spoon, face it upside down towards your eyelashes. Put your thumb under your lashes and the spoon on top. Squeeze the spoon with your lashes between thumb and spoon. Homemade curler! Works great!

Start curling at the base of your lashes, hold for 5 seconds, then move up a little, hold for 5 seconds, and continue all the way until you reach the tips of the lashes. This will add even more of a curl!

i have a metal eyelash curler from L'OREAL and i make sure its clean before using it (no left over mascara) and then i use the blow dryer to heat it up to a warm temp that i can still touch and not burn myslef. Make sure you get as low to the lashline as you can...press and hold for a few seconds and then use a good mascara..i like illegal length by Maybelline. it works for me and i hope it does you too. i have people tell me i have minnie mouse lashes, i guess thats a good thing :)

I find that a metal one works best. You need to get it closer to your lash line and hold gently for about 30 seconds. The reason they are kinky or crinkled is because you are only getting them half way in there.
