I have a friend who is constantly telling me that the boys she likes will fall in love with me as soon as they meet me. She wants me to meet her friends (these boys included) but the second they talk to me more then hello she gets mad thinking they must like me. I know she is just being insecure but its driving me nuts. I have told her more then once that I am not interested in these boys and I try not to talk to them so as to not make her jealous.. this is apparently not enough, what else can I do to??

I don’t really know what to suggest to you…
You have already told her that you aren’t interested in the boys.
Perhaps you just have to tell her that whilst you really appreciate having her as a friend, her getting jealous all the time over nothing is really stretching the friendship, and that unless she stops feeling so damn insecure, you will start giving her reason to be jealous !!!

nothing this is something she has to confront,but like you said shes your friend dont be rude to her guests,for now start by having a male friend around of yours when she wonts you to meet one of her friends again give her a sense that you really dont wont them and stay close to your male friend when you do so the other boys can see you have no interest in them.

not a thing ... its her issue ... i think she is hoping they will talk to her instead after the intro ... its a setup no matter what ... just refuse to get into these discussions with her ... you dont need to reassure her since it does no good anyway ... her problem is her low self esteem .. short of a makeover, there isn;t much you can do to build her up

Your friend has insecurity issues, and obviously your friendship don't mean much if she can't take your word for it. Maybe she thinks you look better than she do.

Sounds like she just wants you to reassure her. Just tell her that your not interested in them and she needs to get control of herself.

its sorrow thing that she is not feeling secure but she need help you gotta ask her for that because you don't have to anything for you are professenal ..so don't feel guilty if she dosn't listen to you that I think you need to leave her ....
