All the time,
It's either down the back of the couch,lost in the bottom of my bag,or being used by the budgies to call 0900 numbers,and those calls are not cheep lol

Yes: It has happened to me and I searched everywhere for it. Then I rang the number and found it on the side in the kitchen, even though I had already looked there!
I also had a work colleague who couldn't find his mobile phone. He looked everywhere. I suggested that he should phone it to find out where it was but he declined. When his back was turned, I found his number from my directory and then phoned it. Low and behold, it was in his jacket pocket. I think he was a little embarrassed to say the least! LOL.

constantly, in fact I bought a cheap Boost phone, so i will not lose out on the money I spent, once I lost the phone, and this is the only phone that when lost, I eventually find it. The worst place I left it was in the Lab, over the weekend...it still has a weird chemical smell to it.

About a year ago, I misplaced by cell, I know that I turned it off as I was entering the garage...The next day I could not find it, we looked everywhere, just about tore the car apart, and still to this day I don't know where it is...You can just imagine how many people bring this up to me, it has become quite a joke...Needless to say, I had to buy a new one.

Once I found it inside the vacuum cleaner's dustbag! Was trying to ring it but I've set it to vibrate!!!!! Once I even dropped the phone SIM card and it landed under the front seat where no hand can reach!!!!! Took me an hour with a tweezer to get it out!

Yeah - all the time!!
The strangest place I left it was in the fridge - but that time I didn't need to ring it because the butter was in my handbag which kind of gave me a clue as to where I left my phone!!

On the way home from a drunken night at the pub my friends and myself decided to walk along the beach. One of my mates had to stop to errr be sick!! and I went to releve myself. I left my phone on the beach and staggered towards my friends it wasnt until we walked about 5 mins along the sea front that I realised that I had put it down. So we had to ring it to listen to the ring tone and try and find it lite up!!

I once missplaced my cellphone. I called it and I heard it ring, I just couldn't figure out where it was. I was looking all around me but just couldn't figure it out. I finally realized that I stuck it inside my pants (around the waist area) because I didn't have pockets....it was pretty funny after I found it. :)

In my bed,or in my car..not really "strange" though,but those are the places where I misplaced my phone.
