My grand daughter was checked just before kindergarten, and we dicovered she needed glasses

they started checking my kids eyes in preschool. So that would be age 3 and 4. They have to be able to understand the questions the doctor or nurses are asking of course and be able to answer.

The school will notice if there's a problem, 6 is a good age.

I think it is very important to have a child's eyes tested before they enter primary school, because if they aren't tested and the child's vision is not good- they may have a lot of difficulties seeing and understanding.

It is never to early to have your childrens eyes checked. When i had my one year old at the eye doctor. i seen them testing a newborn baby.
