These are French words. I'll try to show you how to pronounce them.

Dee Op TREEK

Lay May Tee ORS

Le(r) MOND

Trayt De(r) LOM

La FLESH

I put the Rs in parentheses to show that the letter E before these "hypothetical Rs" is pronounced like the E in the words "Trailer" or "Batter."

The capitalized syllables are the accented (stressed) syllables.

OK its French passed via Latin
for example the word meteores passed to French via Latin from the Greek word Meteoro
