I had lots of birds ( I have 5 feeders ) but now that I stained my house they are gone.
Has anyone else had this happen? What can I do besides wait till the smell goes away and hope they come back ?

Theyll come back. the same thing happens to us. it takes about 3 weeks, then they come back. we seem them kindof check back once in a while, but thyll be back for good in less than a month

Be paitent.They will come back eventually, just not anytime soon.Wait till the smell goes away.

Sounds like you pissed them off. They'll be back to the food source. Give them time.
