I own a beardie and he is grown and they shed their skin a few times a year that I have seen...
He may be getting ready to shed...
Does he have a tree to climb on???
He may need a tree to sharpen his claws...
Do you feed him at least twice a week???
Also if it is too hot like over 90 degrees in the tank, he may want to cool off...
You need to make sure you have the right temperature in the tank and the right lighting...
I am hoping you have a temperature gauge...
They are creatures of the desert, but if too hot will look for water to cool their skin...
Buy a bearded dragon book at your pet store...
They need special care and feeding...
He will need added vitamins to his food too...

If you think he may be constipated, put him in some warm (not hot) water in the sink or a bowl where his body but not head is covered. It will help stimulate a bowel movement. Leave him in for 20 minutes or until the water gets cool. Make sure you have enough heat for him and that you are not feeding him crickets that are too large for his size (you don't mention what he eats). Mine has done well on a pellet diet (she is 8 years old). I just thought of something. Are you sure it is a male. If not it could be a female getting ready to pass an egg or two.
