Shops that sell art & craft materials. Try Spotlight outlets in Plaza Singapura or Tampines. Also art shops in Bras Brasah Complex.

This is really gonna sound freaky to you, but it's honestly the best place to find the materials you need. Go look for the chinese hell notes kind of shop. I've walked pass a couple of such shops and they have lantern paper of different colours and flexible bamboo sticks. You could even pick up a skill or two about tying the bamboo sticks together from the shop owner.

Try the shops over at the concourse, you maybe able to find something there cos they sell lots of such stuffs in the past. Not too sure if the stores are still there though, go drop by for a visit if you have the time. Hope u find what u need over there.

well, since this IS under hobbies and crafts ... how about try something REALLY creative?!?lol....get some jars, tons of lightnign bugs/fireflys and use that lol!!!
