I'm a chinese! And I am in 7th grade now. I study in a private school.
Dear Diary,
I am not satisfied with the school. I have lots of good reasons for hating this school. I don’t even know why I came to this school, Maybe I’m too stupid or something? The first reason I don’t like about this school is that the teachers are always late for class, and this is a private school! My mom and dad had paid a lot of money; we shouldn’t get treated this way! The second reason I don’t like about this school is that our classmates are not doing their homework, and the teachers didn’t do anything about it! Which means students are not afraid or respect teachers. But in this case, I think it’s the teacher’s fault. I wish the teachers could be harsher. The third reason is that the bathroom stinks! When I was in my elementary school, the bathrooms aroma smells good. The forth reason is that this is supposed to be a bilingual class, not a circus or a psychiatric hospital.

If this is a bilingual English class, then when I’m having a test, why are students (my stupid classmates) jumping and running around like crazy monkeys? The teacher must have been out of his mind. I wanted to ask the teacher why would he let students insult him like that. I think the teacher should be ashamed of himself. The fifth reason is I can’t bring my ipod to school! It doesn’t even hurt anyone or even quarrel anybody does it? Sometimes we need to think, “Does this make any sense?” Not just follow the rules just because they are rules. So I don’t give a **** those damn rules, if they caught me listening to my ipod, fine! They can fire me, what am I going to lose? They are the one who should get upset not me right? So now I still listen to my ipod everyday, and my grade is still good. LOL!The most terrible things about this school is the lunch. Almost everyday I saw the oily, greasy, fat, fried meet.

Doesn't the school knows that eating those unhealthy food would become stupid? Doesn't the school knows that eating those fried things could easly get fat or worse, cancer? Good thing my mom is smart enough to made lunch for me. But what about other students? Doesn't the school even care? This is so rediculous! Besides money, what do they want? Let's face it! You know why there are only eleven people in my class? Because this school suck! I supposed even Mr. Bean knows. This is the truth! You can't run away from the truth can you? There are still a lot of reason that let me hate about this school, I just don't want to waste my time picking on this loser school. I've got something else better to do. And there is one thing else, if the school didn't make a diffrence (just like now), then I'm gonna quit next semester. I don't have time for all this, it seems like my father and mother had throw their money into a stove. They sent me to a private school for what?

Well, if you REALLY want to talk like an American... and for the life of me, I can't imagine WHY you WOULD want to sound like an American... then I can give you some tips.

1) Put EVERYTHING in the Present Tense. Americans can't use verbs... not even the three tenses that grade school students have been taught to use up until the past 20 years... so you NEVER say anything in the future or past tenses... you have to change EVERYTHING into the present tense.
Example: You would never say "IN 1941 BAD THINGS HAPPENED IN THE WORLD"... instead, you would say... in "American Speak"... "IT'S 1941 AND BAD THINGS ARE HAPPENING... see the difference.

2) Say "YOU KNOW" at least twice in every sentance.

3) SAY "LIKE" at least EVERY OTHER WORD... NOTE: this is very important if you REALLY want to sound like an American.

4) Never learn how to pronounce foreign proper names... American can only talk American and, if they DO have to pronounce some foreign name... they mis-pronounce the name and them make fun of it because they are too stupid to pronounce it... so they cover up their ignorance by making fun of it.

5) NEVER and I do me NEVER try to understand the culture of any other country than America... and then, act like you know everything about it and arrogantly defend your ignorance.

There are many other ways to sound like an American, but I'm sure a few came to mind as your read this... So put your baseball cap on with the bill at 37 1/2 degrees and give everyone the MS-13 Gang Sign because you don't know what it means... and

WELCOME TO AMERICA.!

An American wouldn't say they were Chinese LOL. There are mostly grammar errors but nothing terrible.
Here are the errors.

I'm a chinese!
You would say, "I'm Chinese."

The first reason I don’t like about this school is that the teachers are always late for class, and this is a private school!
You would say, "the first reason", not thing.

My mom and dad had paid a lot of money; we shouldn’t get treated this way!
Omit the word had.

The second reason I don’t like about this school is that our classmates are not doing their homework, and the teachers didn’t do anything about it!
Omit the word about.

Which means students are not afraid or respect teachers.
This instead of which, although some Americans with poor grammar will make that mistake so it doesn't sound foriegn.

When I was in my elementary school, the bathrooms aroma smells good.
Use possesive, bathroom's or omit the word aroma and use the past-tense smelled instead of smells.

They can fire me, what am I going to lose?
You can't get fired from school, only a job. You may be expelled from school.

So now I still listen to my ipod everyday, and my grade is still good.
If you are taking more than one class you should say grades.

LOL!The most terrible things about this school is the lunch.
You would say thing, not things.

Doesn't the school knows that eating those unhealthy food would become stupid? Doesn't the school knows that eating those fried things could easly get fat or worse, cancer?
This is so bad I'll just rewrite it.
Don't they know eating unhealthy things will make us stupid? Don't they know fried foods will make us fat and may cause cancer?
It still doesn't make much sense.

Good thing my mom is smart enough to made lunch for me.
Use make instead of made.

This is so rediculous!
Use a spellcheck - ridiculous.

Because this school suck!
Sucks, no American school kid screws up that one.

I supposed even Mr. Bean knows.
I suppose...

There are still a lot of reason that let me hate about this school, I just don't want to waste my time picking on this loser school.
There are still a lot of reasons I hate this school....

I've got something else better to do.
The usual phrase is, I've got better things to do.

And there is one thing else, if the school didn't make a diffrence (just like now), then I'm gonna quit next semester.
And there's something else (though I would omit this whole part). Again spellcheck - difference.

I don't have time for all this, it seems like my father and mother had throw their money into a stove.
You can say had thrown to make this correct grammar. Most Americans would just say they threw their money away.

This school was diorganized!
Diorganized isn't a word. I think you mean disorganized. Also you would say is not was.

All in all pretty good. I understood all you said. Just work on your grammar. Hope that helps and good luck with your English.

OK, the other answers seem to think that this is your diary and you are complaining about school. I think that this is an assignment where you are supposed to write in the style of an American kid complaining about their American school -- Which is it?

And if you want someone to correct the writing, you have to write a shorter piece. This is too long to be able to correct in this space

You did really well writing this. There are a few mistakes where you have said things slightly off the way an American would say it. Here are some suggestions; say "The first thing I don;t like about : instead of "the first reason... or else say, the first reason I dont like this school - leave out the 'about. Theres no rule about how you should do this, it just doesnt sound right.

Say Dad paid a lot or dad have paid instead of Dad had paid.

the students are not afraid of the teachers or they dont respect them
(except I canhardly imagine a student worrying about whether other students respect the teachers. and very few American students would be afraid of their teachers. I dont think the word harsher is right - that implies that the teacher is rude or nasty -- I think you mean to use the word tougher or you could say I wish the teachers were more strict - except that would be kind of rare to find a kid who wanted school to be harder! hahaha
I dont think many kids would make a claim that the bathrooms had smelled good, but they might say something like, 'back in elementary school at least the lavs didnt stink!
Fourth rather than forth

I have been a little sloppy with my typing but I hope you can follow what I said. I think you did a great job with your writing - better than a lot of real american kids could do!!!!

Ignore all these rude answerers. People, get it, he didn't ask you to comment on the content of what he's writing about, just merely his english skills.
I think your english is very good for a 7th grader who is in China.
keep up the good work and by the time you graduate, you'll be even better!

Welcome to the West my boy. Here we have more freedom but kids don't respect the teachers and the toilet stink. The only people in China who have enough money to send their kids abroad to private schools are oligarchic criminals (communist party members or their friends) and the rest of the chinese people are just barely surviving. Try to take advantage of the free information (not available in China) you can find here to learn more about China and its recent past

Maybe a web cam to make videos and documenting everything you see, keeping names, dates, actions etc. will convince your parents that this isn't a good school. Well I'm sure alot of young adults in america would sound the same and I know they experience the same issues as you. good luck hugs

You sound like a spoiled brat. I can't tell your nationality, but I can tell that you do not communicate with your parents and you need to grow up. Instead of writing in your diary you need to call, or write your parents or grandparents or some adult who actually gives a damn about you.

Well, maybe a spoiled brat American. If your parents are paying a lot of money, why don't you complain to them so they no they are flushing their money away. Try public school if the private one is so bad. And please quit whining about not being able to take your I Pod. It's called life. Good luck finding a job that is going to cater to your every needs.

um..first off, that's not a smart thing to put...'do i sound like an american' just because you're upset with your school
do not classify americans as ungrateful, because not all of us are, the majority are very grateful for what we have
secondly-school (especially private schools) are usually like that
get used to it, and be grateful you're able to go to school
