I told this guy I like him and he says he doesnt want a relationship at the moment. That's fine but I still want to be friends with him but he is really 'nervous' (not quite the right word) maybe awkward around me now. I really want to just hangout together as friends What can I do about this?

since you told him you liked him he will now not see you as a friend but as a girl trying to make things more than what it really is a friendship you have to tell him you put your feelings aside and you are going on with your life and mean it and no longer look at him the same sorry but its true friendship wont be if he iis acting like that

let him know (think?) that you have no interest in making him feel uncomfortable. let him know ur not the clingy type who's gonna be all OMG I LOVE U LOVE ME OR I'LL COMMIT SUICIDE AND IT'LL BE UR FAULT!
bc tht's creepy. not to mention ttly Mary Sue-y.
and also, justact natural around him, and he'll eventually melt. let him know tht tho u like him, ur not gonna beg him to have u.
