Why is it that as soon as a christian band goes mainstream fro example, Relient K and switchfoot, are those bands suddenly cool?
But when I listented to these bands before, I was "uncool" why is that...

Amen and amen. I was a big rk fan before they hit it big, and only after the fact was it "cool". Same with Switchfoot,Stacie Orrico, chevelle, etc. crossing over into secular. Take my word being "cool" by the world's standards is majorly overrated.

Probably because it takes more of that person to be a Christian band. It takes more risks to sing Christian songs, knowing that there's little market for that.

I think its cool, to be able to express your faith in Music. They say that singing is the highest form of praise.

I never knew they were Christian bands... I like Switchfoot a little I guess... I dunno. Society sucks. That's why I said, "Screw them," and became a very uncool person. LOL.

Cause Christianity is cool,but only if you can hear it on the radio & everybody knows who it is
