You have spyware

Follow these directions

1. Do not download anti-spyware programs blindly, they might be spyware themselves. Check this list to no which programs to trust:

2. Download the following (if you don’t have them already) and then UPDATE them. After they are updated, restart your PC while tapping the “F8” key – this will start your PC in “safe mode”. When your computer is in safe mode scan with all these programs and then trash what ever they find (some might take over an hour to scan each).

Some websites indeed pop up commercial windows. And some shower you with pop-ups, mostly pornographic. Do you get it with certain websites? If so, which?

If you ALWAYS get it, however, as your question makes it appear, then it sounds to me like you've got something on your own PC causing it. Better get some anti-spyware software, like Ad-Aware, to find this out.

Always make sure your PC is properly protected, by anti-virus and firewall.

What you have is called a pop-up window appearing. You need to either download a pop-up stopper or use firefox, which has a built-in pop-up stopper.

You need to go to your browser functions and use the 'block pop up ads' function. Go to the "help" function and type in "pop up ads" and it will tell you how to stop them.
